How can we let go of those events in the past that have hurt us? Being able to forgive others with compassionate understanding is sometimes enough to solve the problem. But we may also need to forgive ourself. And where the hurt goes deeper, we need wisdom too. A wisdom that understands why people do harmful things, and a wisdom that is able free ourself from being stuck in a past identity.
Through combining these wisdom insights with compassion for ourself and others, we can free ourself from being negatively affected by past events.
