November 25 – December 18: Letting Go of Bad Habits
Everyone wants to be less insecure, fearful, lazy, angry and depressed. We wish for more success, more harmony in our relationships and a more fulfilling life. But we find it difficult to actually let go of our bad habits and to bring about the things that we long for in our life. Instead we often feel stuck in unhealthy and unhappy habits. Buddha’s teachings help us to understand what it is we need to let go of as well as giving us the confidence and skill to achieve this. Through applying these methods we can begin to have the joyful and meaningful life we all long for. Classes include two guided meditations and a talk.

Meditation for Everyone
These classes provide you with tools for dealing with problems, such as stress and fear, and replacing them with positive minds, such as patience and love.
Taught by Resident Teacher Kadam Heather Rocklin, each class includes two guided meditations and a talk on how to use Buddha’s teachings to find inner peace, chanted prayers (Sundays only), and an opportunity to ask questions. Although each class is taught as part of a series, it is also self-contained, so newcomers are always welcome.
