Everyone welcome! Meditation classes are offered on Sunday mornings, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. These classes are suitable for all individuals whatever their level of interest, from those who seek simple relaxation to those who wish to find lasting inner peace (what to expect at a class). We offer Buddha’s timeless teachings in a simple, practical way to help solve daily problems and create the real peace and happiness we all long for.
Mahasiddha Kadampa Buddhist Center has arisen from the pure intention and vision of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union, and is dedicated to the happiness and freedom from suffering of every living being. Weʼve been in Portland since 1997 offering activities such as drop-in meditation classes, day courses, retreats, and chanted prayers for the Buddhist and non-Buddhist alike.
Check our current calendar for a full listing of all the events at Mahasiddha.
